I interviewed for Data Analyst role at EY, it went well and the job sounds great, but I'm a bit hesitant to leave PwC because I really like the firm and I'm just 8 months in my job as an associate at a subgroup of ITS that has some focus on technology and analytics but it's mostly tax compliance.
I do want to transition to data analytics but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to go to another big 4, or maybe just look for a position in industry.
Any advice or similar experience?

Running an M&A process of you’re a sell side banker... not exactly a skill set u develop in valuation groups. Also valuation groups usually work on the QoE which is just one component of the deal process whereas as a banker you usually facilitate the buyer/seller through the whole transaction.
Obviously missing out a lot in my response but if you want to know more a quick search on Wall Street oasis of big 4 valuation should help. Or go on mergersandinsquisitions.com.
They have articles on valuation and different groups within IB that should answer your question even more thoroughly.
