Hi folks, I have recently joined Publicis Sapient taking an offer of 14.4 LPA. I have total 4.5 years of experience and my previous CTC was around 3.4 LPA. I had various offers in hand but not one to counter this one and PS is providing me 4x+, so I couldn't negotiate much.
Another thing is I was an immediate joiner as I had left my previous organisation 3 months ago so I couldn't wait to think about this offer.
But now I think it's low, what do you think please let me know and suggest.
I have offers from Bajaj Finserv, Impetus, Eclerx,BNY Mellon, Congnizent (package discussion pending)
YOE:3.4 .skill SQL,Python
Please help me to choose in terms of tech stack, learning opportunities, future growth, wlb
Package is almost same.
Impetus is deploying in Big data project. Is right choice? If yes

I have seen in Wipro, guys preparing for upsc while being on long bench period (1-2yrs) and nobody cares what they doing and what are they being paid for..
I think if the companies need to cut short their expenses, they would start firing with bench people first, common skill people second and then those who can be removed at higher levels
They won't touch freshers or less experienced as they maintain some kind of a triangle structure and mass workers at low grade pay
Ideally you won't be on bench if you have niche skillset and new projects or CRs are available for work
Yah, even one of my friend got terminated today. He was in bench just from last 1.5 months
Yes I heard too.
Dude how much exp does he had I mean sitting on bench for 6 months is even possible I joined an organization on 15 Sept and my onboarding to the project was started on 16th so you see they don't pay you unnecessary..I just have 1 year of experience I switched as 1 wanted to change my domain ..No one can enjoy in corporate world if you are on bench for 2 month or more connect with ur companies resources management team ..
I agree. Take it from my experience. I was looking for switch for last 3.5 months. I was not getting calls as market was already slowed down and whoever was calling was not agreeing on the compensation where i was asking on the market standards. Then some calls were those where i didn’t want to go being service based. Now left around 15% calls which would be around 5-6 interviews. And this was all happening when i was working on project and was confident.
When you are in situation you would be waiting for project allocation as it would be the right choice and suddenly something like this happens then you are not prepared.
Have been into the same situation in past thats why i know the pain.
Anyways good luck for the job hunting guys.. don’t loose hope whoever is going through this.

didn't give even one client interview or even put in a project or face internal interviews in 6 months? Not believable
He was on bench itself. That project manager asked to first get it approved from your bench poc about this tagging then only we will onboard you. But afterthen he didn't get any response.
