Any leads on compensation for an L5 regional program manager role (non software related) for EMEA and APAC based in Europe (specifically Germany and Netherlands)?

Debating a new job and was told I could expect RSUs ranging from $40-60K on an annual basis. When I asked for this to be written in the offer letter, I was told that because it is a “discretionary grant that is not contractual” it would not be in there. I was also told that my role qualifies for these grants by my new potential boss. Is this normal/standard?

What is more sustainable: partner at MBB or at Big4 strat team?

Fortunate to be able to choose between both for a pre-Partner role, and while my younger self would have gone to MBB, being now a family person the perceived idea of less travel (Europe, not US based) and a more lenient up-or-out policy is making me lean towards the latter.

Having decided to stay in consulting for the long run, am I selling myself short? Also, is talent, projects and clients so different as MBB tries to convey?

Hello! Q on how to follow up w/ recruiter about a role. DM’d them about Founding Product Designer role, they “love my background” but looking for someone with actually 10 YOE (JD says 4+). It’s been a little over a mo. with role seemingly still open on their site.

I manage const for eng companies. Got short video interview, then a job offer @ low end my req. range. Experience: it’s normal to travel for a 2nd interview in person. Result: I see quitting to do this as risky. I asked for more $ than my prior range & explained I prefer we meet in person to see if it’s a fit 1st. Hiring manager wants me and may push for the $ but not the in person meet. Wonder if it could cause me to start there with less trust if they think I abused my position for more $.

I got an offer letter from Barclays. My joining date is in last week of December. But I am continuously hearing the news of recession and company revoking their offer letter.
Can Barclays ever did this or any chance that a company can revoke their offer Letter as I have already given resignation in my current organization.

I have no idea what is wrong with me or how to fix it. In my lifetime, I have no real friends even though I meet so many people. I reach out and they dismiss me. I ask how they're doing and they don't reciprocate or ignore me. I really try to be a kind, fun friend.

My therapist thinks there's nothing wrong with me, but I just meet the wrong people.
But this sounds wrong, they all have close friends, nobody actively hates me, though clearly I am doing something wrong. I can't live like this.
