The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand. Inspired me to leave my profession in the army and work for myself, starting a new career as an entrepreneur, advisor, and coach.
Atlas shrugged for sure. Fountainhead was also really good. In retrospect, I'd probably read Fountainhead first because after I read Atlas Shrugged first, my expectations were really high.
Lord of the rings. Sounds corny, but I’ve read it three times and find it’s really shaped my approach to ethics and confrontation management. My appreciation of it’s elegance and attention to detail also shaped my aspirations around craftsmanship in my work.
