I've good relationship with the management and even the clients. Not to boost, but they have high regards regarding my ability to perform and deliver.

Today morning my manager called me and said that he has some information. He says, the client offered me a position on site and they want me there. The processing will be started once I pull back my papers (As expected).

This is a lot to process for me. I'm here speaking my heart out as I don't know how best to react. I've spoken to my family members and they said it's upto me and they have no problem.

My current plan is to,
Ask for the on site offer written in mail(will stress on this)
Ask for my current package increment here(should I stress hard on this?)

If you read till here about my confusion - Thank you soo much - , and have some suggestion to offer me.. Please put in your thoughts.

Thanks again.

You still have 3 months np, keep searching for more offers. With the current scenario, I don't think European countries are best option as there's a high inflammation coming there in near future.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Don't get intimidated. Ask to raise in GMS get it approved from travel team and then revoke your resignation. Happened in my case, I said I will revoke only if it is approved in system. I asked for Canada but got only Mexico 🤣 So I have declined it and moving out. It is your call, if you want to travel - do it properly - ask them for an entry in ViSa tracker and in GMS - Wait till you get travel team approval if are seeing these steps happening then revoke your resignation else don't do it

Yes, makes sense. Will remember this if my request goes forward. Thanks for the suggestion.

I would suggest you to ask for revising your current package . And also get a written note from them and cross check with your clients with whom you used to interact . All the best !

Yes, that seems to be the right way currently. Thanks for the suggestion.

You can get around 25-30 LPA with 5+ experience if you are really good at what you do. You don't need onsite. You need career growth.

Which country is your onsite?
Ask your manager to raise Visa request immediately in Ultimatix

I've asked him. He says he will raise it, but the system will allow once I take back my resignation. Yes, I am scheduled to have a discussion with HR soon. It's a European Country.

Hey, my two cents. For a 5 year exp person, 11+ lpa is a decent salary and not bad at all. So you don't have to stress about that. Getting onsite in any company is a challenge. You're getting this opportunity, I would suggest you to grab it. It's good that you've asked it in writing, that's the way to go. Onsite, that too to Europe would be a life changing experience trust me. You're in a good relationship with the management and the client which is great. You're in the right direction. Take up the onsite. Seeing how you're capable technically, you can get a job in India anytime with your eyes closed. Don't lose this onsite. :) All the best!

If you are having 5.5years of experience you must be ITA. In many countries you can only go if you are AST or above. This is as per TCS policy. If your manager is promising you something then ask him to give that in writing and ask HR if they can give you a retention offer. HR is having the authority to provide a retention offer almost matching your existing offer. If you find that your manager is reluctant to give it in writing then be sure that he may not honour the commitment. All the best!

On-site has become very uncertain. Also lot of things depends on visa and all.
I suggest to move on

Is there a reason why you still live in an apartment or it is by choice. I’ve been living in an apartment for the past 3 years. Everyone around me suggests that the right thing to do is buy a home.. I just feel like I’m not ready for that commitment and maintaining an entire house. Wanted to wait s bit more..on the other hand not sure if it’s financially wise to keep living in an apartment. So confused...
