Hi Everyone,
I had received an offer from IBM for Bangalore location but I want to have Kolkata as my bas location. I have asked my HR SPOC to revise the offer letter and get me the same. He said he will get back to me but I haven't heard from him and it has been 3 days. Will it be entertained? IBM
Anyone know pwc S&O salaries for deals strategy?
My company is hiring a Senior Graphic Designer for an in-house role. Good opportunity for someone to switch from agency to in-house. Office is open and people are working 10 days a month in the Chicago office with the expectation of returning full time at some point. Position is more than "graphic design" but that is the title..in-house titles are different than agencies.

It really depends on your resume. A referral in itself won’t get you an interview, but it will make sure they take a closer look at you
...but i’m worried about my grades. Went through a tough spot with the family in my second and third year and my grades unfortunately suffered. Bounced back in fourth year, though curious to understand if it makes a difference. Any insight would be sincerely appreciated!
Wow are you me?? I thought I slept posted this question because it’s so similar to my situation. Good luck!

Do they look at your grades for experienced hires?
They definitely look at your grades as an experienced hire. Let’s cut to the chase, what’s your GPA and what’s your ACT or SAT score? I recently went through a very similar situation, but “bad grades” is too relative.
What I will say is that the grade trajectory turnaround senior year is nice but your transcript is most likely not getting a look. You can attach it an extra document to your application (in addition to resume and CL). But the absolute numbers on the resume are simply going to matter a lot.
It was for the associate role, but believe most candidates were there as experienced hires. Can’t say for sure as I didn’t spend much time socializing. For project leader, I really don’t know, but I know the application online will not let you omit GPA and test scores. So they are going to see it. I’m sure it matters less the more experience you have and the higher the role, but ultimately these talent acquisition specialists are screening a lot of candidates... so better grades, better schools, better jobs, better overall pedigree is always going to help... and drawing lines is so hard / frankly arbitrary in my opinion
