I have a past experience of core audit with another big4 which I have started missing a lot lately. My current notice period is 3months. Is it a good decision to quit now and start looking for another job during my notice period?

So I've got the offer letter from Genpact today, but I have to send the required docs and BGV should happen and then in 3-4 days they might send Joining/Appointment letter.
So my doubt is, shall I inform the current Consultancy that I'm rejecting their offer? Or shall I wait till I get the appointment letter from Genpact and then inform the consultancy?
