one thing that really helped my anxiety situation is switching to decaf coffee. I know there’re a lot of decaf haters. But personally, I LOVE the taste of coffee but after 2 cups (and sometimes even just one cup) my mind will start racing and I’ll start worrying about literally everything. A friend of mine told me to quit caffeine and I listened. I was able to find delicious decaf coffee that taste just as good, I sleep better now, and have even better energy. ✌️

I’m about to lateral into a BigLaw law firm in New York from another comparable firm from London (yep, international background). The offer has been made but I’d like to meet with associates before signing and the firm has agreed. I’m keen to know what the work culture is like, how work is allocated and mentoring enabled. What kind of associates should I ask to speak with and what questions should I ask?

Joined BL a few weeks back as a third year and feeling a bit overwhelmed. It turned out that, no one underatands or knows anything about the tech stack for which they were hired(god knows how they cleared interview)!! Now i'm the only one doing all teams work !!
