I got an offer from IBM and wanted to understand how the PF deduction works.
So the compensation breakup is like
Fixed pay(basic+FBP) + Gratuity(4.8% of basic) + PF(12% of basic)

Is the PF mentioned in the offer breakup, employers PF or employee PF? If its the employers PF, will the same amount(12% of basic) will again be deducted from my fixed as employee PF contribution?

What does the sign on bonus or referral bonus look like for your agency?

For those who interviewed with cap one recently or in the past, how long do they usually take to reply?
I interviewed with them on Wednesday for the FRP campus hire and still have not heard back yet.

I have this weird question, i was interviewed in a company saying there will be only 1 round followed by HR round for salary discussion. But they conducted 4 rounds and I cleared all the rounds and settled with 7lpa as they couldn't give what I asked (9lpa). It all happened 1 month back and haven't received offer yet. Now 3 days back they scheduled client round and again scheduled one more round tomorrow. Now can I ask more than what they offered since they scheduled these many rounds?

I was relocated to another city for work. I found a place that I could afford on my salary. However, it’s not the best neighborhood. Since Saturday, there has been 2 people shot and killed on the street I live on.!! I told my boss about this and he said.. “Don’t make it a big deal” Move!! 😳 I don’t know how to take that folk.. PS5 Owner here, looking for my next title until God Of War comes out.

My favorite genre is action adventure, I particularly loved Horizon 1 + 2, Last of us 1 + 2, God of War, Jedi Fallen Order.

I also enjoy some RPGs, I thought elden ring was okay but have previously enjoyed the fallout games.

Just bought a new primary residence that needs work. Current home has ~$100k equity after buying in 2019 with <$20k down (appreciated around 20% in the last 3 years, in a major metro area). Would you:

1) Lock in the appreciation & sell now. Use some for renovations/other investments.

2) Keep for another 2-3 years & rent out for a small cash flow (<100/month if self-managing), get a HELOC if needed. Note it would not pass my investment criteria if buying today.
