Hi everyone! I have been in my current role as an EA at a financial institution for about a year and a half now. I would love to find a 100% remote role as a mid level EA at a company with an awesome work culture. I think I’m ready to be challenged again, I find myself bored in my current role… I’m open to any industry but would love to get into tech. The week of my wedding, my husband (PL SQL Developer 4 yoe) was laid off. That was a couple of weeks ago. Luckily I'm still bringing money in as a software engineer, but I'm looking for advice on how to support a partner who has been laid off. Ultimately I think we will be ok, but I know he's hurting / stressed / and could use a supportive partner.

I've got a job in the UAE.
I'm thinking of working there for ~2 years and coming back and settle in India.
Have few questions and would expect folks to help me out:)
1. UAE is tax free country so my assumption is that you can earn without paying income tax there and bring back money in India just by transferring it and paying any tranfer fees.
Is this true ? I'm thinking to bring back around 50-60Lac of money after two years.
2. One doesn't need to pay any income tax in India ?

Left to another firm. For my 401K, I have 2 options. Rollover funds to new firm or withdraw all funds in cash. If I were to withdraw all the funds, how much would roughly would I be taxed + penalized?

Why is common core math so dispised by a lot of parents and teachers? To me it looks much better at explaining the concepts of mathematics that the traditional style.

How much time does pwc take to rollout offer the verbal discussion on offer is done.

Why are EY and PwC obsessed with insurance and Guidewire. As if other domains are supporting roles of bollywood movie.

Earlier before pandemic the salary on an average was YOE x 2.5 means
5 yoe was 12.5 lacs appx and so on

Now it has just got increased by factor of 3 or 3.25 i.e. 8 year of work ex 8x3 = 24 -27 lacs

What do you think has led to this shift?

P.S : This is just a generalised observation. If you have different notion, it may be some availability bias.

Just in a trouble, got an offer at KPMG, the Interview went all well, and the HR has asked for documents, no salary discussions were done, yet when should I expect offer letter from HR?

Moreover the firm wants me to be on their side, in less than a week, will they provide the letter in this week or does it takes time?
