Don’t give up. National integration needs you to give it some more time and embrace some differences 😊
Yes, it becomes lonely in Banglore sometimes. Don't force things so much on yourself. Accommodation would be a little costlier but Mumbai is much better city then Bangalore for a north Indian. You will find good number of Hindi speaking...i mean everybody speaks Hindi. Food and transportation is the last thing you need to worry about. And your extra rent would get adjusted in comparatively cheap flights and the option of traveling by train. You have good enough number of trains between delhi mumbai and by getting wfh you can travel frequently home as well.
You will not feel good either in Mumbai too bro...
Mumbai is worst.. I am shifting to Banglore fRom Mumbai
Am from North India….have been living in Mumbai/Pune in past 7 years, presently in Mumbai, both great cities, only accommodation is one problem that I genuinely see in Mumbai, other than that a great city…lots of places to explore unlike many other cities.
You’ll easily get good North Indian tasty food and I have never faced any issue with the language, everyone knows and understands Hindi and the people are helping overall.
ok bro, thanks a lot
I am from north India and I joined JPMC Bangalore recently. Planning to move to Bangalore next week, currently WFH. It would be my first time visit to Bangalore, but I am all positive about it after multiple discussion with various peopt

Give yourself sometime to adapt to new changes... location, maybe food wise..and social life toh build ho hi jati hai...tum thodi tumhari Hindi sunna dena, English mai mix karke....aur vaise bhi Mumbai se kafii better hai Banglore..after a year switch kr lena Delhi/Pune..least stay and experience it once.
Hindi k liye you can think of Hyderabad
I am from Noida and working / living in mumbai since 5 years. I like mumbai better than NCR. Less pollution and people are very nice. No random ego fights.
However mumbai is expensive i.e. flat on rent that'll cost 15k in NCR will cost 30k in mumbai. So that's a trade off one has to make. One thing I miss about NCR, is convenience of going on weekend trips to himachal.
Worked in pune/Mumbai for 10years, both the cities are great.. recently shifted to banglore and i dint feel much difference... Food, people, climate, language everything is amazing... V only need to respect the culture and PPL and rest al is good...lots of places to explore in b'lore...
Being born and brought up in Mumbai , I never liked Bangalore when I moved there for 3 years much because of a lot of reasons. But main was food. In Mumbai you would find all types and cuisines so easily. And cooks as well who can cook multiple cuisines, the weather in summer is not so great but the summer weather in Bangalore is also similar just less humid.
You would find the cuisines but you would have to search for them and the taste would not be so good normally(in exceptional cases you do find great food in amazing and expensive restaurants) but yea you can't eat outside everyday. While in Mumbai, almost every restaurant is multicuisine and Street food is famous of Mumbai anyhow!!
Where do you live in BLR? We recently moved here too. My husband is with JPMC.
I got a flat in Bellandur
Acc to north indian, you will find good food in Mumbai but weather is worst.
Whereas in bangalore u find good weather and all, but food is based mostly on south indian ,so that needs to be adjusted.
Food wise mumbai is better then bangalore. You get variety as you want. But when it comes to Banglore, food options I have heard is limited. But Banglore has one advantage, you can switch to good startups with good pay. Mumbai has issue with pay, not many companies who will match or give more then JPMC.
Why is it so ? N basically in which LOB you are ?
I am a North Indian n perfectly doing well here n liking the environment too
I'm in CIB
