My partner struggles with trauma-related depression. He’s asked that I reach out every day to find a time where we can check in during the work day, even if we’ve had quality time in the morning or have evening plans.

This feels like a big ask to me. I requested we not check in *every* work day, and he agreed, but still sends me guilting texts if I don’t reach out about it. I want to support his emotional needs, but this feels codependent and I feel myself growing resentful. Is this reasonable?
