Got an offer at a great company. Ive done this job before but moved away from it because it burnt me out because of the people and it scarred me. Any Spec Ed teachers feel like every time you try to get your program running you can’t? I am not in a self-contained class but more of a student drop in resource room where I work in small groups with life skills students who come to me for instruction & then take independent tasks back to class to complete. I’m starting to worry so much about everything that could go wrong and derail everything, one of our parents getting sick, my fiancé or I getting sick so that we can’t enjoy this wonderful life moment. Is anyone who switched firms this year still paying social security tax on their wages even though they are past the SS taxable wages threshold ($137,700 in 2020)?
