Honest input request. Recent company role overhaul & total comp package revamp, cutting my 6 figures made last year down by 30k, and they added in support calls + prospecting + team lead. Pay day saw a 2.5k take home drop This month. This helped low performing staff increase their income, and pulled top performing folks like me into the red. Do I have any negotiation points here? Hi, I am an engineer with a master degree . I worked for more than a decade as an engineer. I then switched to product marketing through mba. I was recently laid off from a series B startup . Anyone gone through US naturalization process after green card? I have the Green Card but I travel a lot for international assignments outside of the US. Used to rejection and I don’t let it get me down, but with the job market being the way it is—should I put my plans to get into tech on hold? I was thinking maybe construction sales or even possibly recruiting. I’m hesitating because of the nitpicking from HMs and recruiters for “job hopping”. Need an advice. I am confused between doing masters or learn tech stack and increase experience and salary.
*My primary goal is to earn more.*
If masters I have to do in US or UK, so GRE, GMAT.
If for learning and tech experience I can learn tech stacks.
But I am confused between this.
Could you please tell or suggest what would be a better choice? Is doing masters in US or UK is a better ROI or be in India and gain exp and earn more by switching?

I have cleared all the interviews for Walmart Global Tech and salary negotiations are also done. A month ago the recruiter said that they are waiting on some approvals and once it is done we will be issuing the offer letter but I haven't heard back any other update since then. Am I getting rejected or is it normal to be on hold without any update for a month at this stage?
