I'm currently a Senior Associate finishing up my MBA and I'm interviewing for a role in Corporate Strategy. I would like to discuss the salary range for this role with the recruiter. Is this recommended? What salary range should I be expecting as an internal hire? My target is 150k base for this role.

I’m a very driven person and hard worker and took a new job as a financial analyst in FP&A back in May. I have an MBA and am on a team with all men. I’m not nearly getting paid what I should. I get to work at 8 and leave at 6/6:30 and sometimes work more at home and can’t sleep because it’s hard for me to disconnect. I know I’m in a learning curve but no one has the time to help me be successful in this role and I’m constantly put in bad situations to make me seem like an idiot. Is this normal?

My goal was always to get into a more broad HRBP position, but I've since worked for smaller orgs without a solid HR career path. When I ask about my career goals, they keep telling me, "Soon!" Or "Maybe in 6 months!"
