It's always been a dream of mine to work at Google, specifically as a UX designer (currently transitioning into UX from visual design). I've been so afraid to apply to any jobs with UX title, Google or not, because I'm always doubting myself and telling myself I'm still under-qualified.
UX designers & hiring managers, what are the skills a designer must have to be "qualified" for a UX position? Keywords on resume? Certifications? Thank you all in advance!
McKinsey & Company Has Mckinsey met BA headcount quota for the year/did they freeze hiring? I interviewed and got to last round last year, and applied again with a referral two months ago but haven’t heard anything from recruiting. Last year I heard back within 1 month of referral drop. I would’ve thought with my 1 more year of experience I should be able to get an interview easily.🥲 McKinsey & Company

What are your thoughts about someone willing to pursue SAP consulting as a career ? Oracle and SAP are standard ERP systems in Fortune/Big companies so even if one joins and learns in 2-3 yrs what are the growth opportunities in SAP ? I do recognize that there are a lot of advanced planning systems out there but in reality is it fair to assume that one can easily plateau off in 5 yrs from a career progression standpoint?SAP Oracle o9 Solutions Blue Yonder Kinaxis Inc.

yes sometime it takes a big toll on all perspectives of your life. and sometimes its very chilled out
Like the person above said: some projects will require more time, some will be a walk in the park. It’ll be determined by the maturity of the client and the account team servicing that client. That is, if it’s a mature client (knows how to work with consultants) and a mature account team, projects are appropriately scoped and staffed, and you’ll cruise. If either parties is not mature, then it’s 50/50. If it’s a relatively new account team with a client unfamiliar with working with consultants, you’ll likely work long hours. This isn’t unique to PS - you’ll find that at every firm…
