Oof. Salesforce falls 20 spots on Forbes best employers to 123. Can’t say I’m surprised 😏
Something has been bothering me, but I feel guilty for thinking it. Basically I'm making about 20K more than my partner after I got a new job (annual salary before tax), because he decided to switch to software development later in life. He is about 31 now with a junior/intermediate developer position. I'm worried that he's too late in the game and will never catch up to his peers and even to me...I know I shouldn't think this way, but just can't help but worry im with someone who is too behind
Consultants who joined google, are you happy now?

Citi PB: Investment Associate Comp?
I’m thinking about leaving my government job for a matrimonial law firm. I had a baby in January & my husband’s job was hit particularly hard by the pandemic (100% commission based & I was already earning more than him). I am enticed by the compensation & have been unhappy with certain aspects of my govt job lately. But I’m also nervous about billables & firm life (I was a matrimonial lawyer 5+ years ago). Mostly I want to provide for my baby girl & not be stressed financially. Advice? Thoughts?
Hi I am in the last stage of getting a job in an investment bank in Krakow. I have 3 years of experience and the role is in model validation. Could anyone help me understand the cost of living there and the Salary I may quote.
I just started in workers compensation. I’m using the desk book as my primary resource and attended a few CLEs but I’m still feeling like I have inadequate resources and practical knowledge. Any tips on how to get up to speed faster? I feel like I’m letting my supervising partner down with my general lack of know how.
What would be the right salary for someone working as a Software engineer in Ontario with an experience of around 7-8 years?
Offered a fast track interview for a Chief of Staff position. Thoughts on future path if i go this route? Salary potential? Thanks in advance!
I’m considering leaving a firm where I do complex PI to go into general lit with billables at 1550. Base salary at new place would be slightly hire, bonuses at current place slightly better. Obviously potential earning potential at the current place could be large if I were to become partner, but new place has a steady salary increase every year. If I ever wanted to go back to complex PI, would it be tough finding work? New place does have associates go to trial a lot in smaller cases. Am I
My firm is considering mid-year comp adjustments, with news expected in December. Should I hold off on looking for a new job until I know my new comp? I'm looking for about 22% higher base than current, but this number might be higher next month.

Where is a new build???
Relatively new hire here. I am all for working my way up and I know my place, but my senior occasionally asks me to do some pretty degrading tasks. Is there any way to push back as a newbie?

Up vote who you're voting for in the presidential elections. I trust consultants think differently (and smarter) from the masses.

How would you react if you literally get in a call, don’t say anything and your client asks “(my name)? I don’t like your name” and then where are you based, to which I reply my city and she says something like “even worse” The client is not based in the US but in Germany so maybe humor is different and it was a joke to them, but idk I’ve worked in call centers before consulting so I’m pretty bulletproof, but thought it was odd to hear this from a client in a professional environment
I save about 3K/mo. I don’t make a lot as an entry level consultant but I have very few bills. How much do you save per month? Just want to understand if I’m spending too much or not and how I compare to the avg

LinkedIn recruiter texted me to schedule a call tomorrow to share an update post final round. Is this any indication either way? Do they call for all outcomes?
