Don't assume all of your coworkers are making about the same. Many years ago, I was working as a tax staff making $60,000 at a small CPA office in NYC. There was another tax staff that I shared an office with that was only making $40,000. How I knew? He accidentally dropped his paystub on his way out one Friday and was shocked to see how much less she was making. We were both staff level. I had more experience but still shameful that 2 staff levels had such a huge wage gap. I never told her.

During salary discussion, HR is asking me to share offer in hand without hiding company name. Should i share?
I have already shared offer hiding company details.

I had a phone interview with a big company last Wednesday.
The recruiter said that the director had reviewed my resume and was interested but wanted him to screen me.
He said “the job is yours” because I had “everything they were looking for” salary was within their range ETC…
He said someone will follow up with the next steps(video interview) Tomorrow will be a week and I haven’t heard anything not even a response to my thank you email .. I don’t know what to think 😫

I am an hourly employee. Currently if there is a hospital call that needs to be done, someone will volunteer to do it for overtime. Now, my company wants to create a set call schedule. If we get a call at 5pm, when my shift ends, can I still be required to complete the call? I will be paid overtime but don’t like the fact they will force it upon us.
