I have 2 year of experience (cloud and devops) , My ctc is 20.5LPA fixed,
I have a good knowledge of Azure cloud services, devops, . Net with prof. Certification.

I am very bad with DSA and coding, should I continue to upskills cloud and devops Or should I start learning DSA, as for SDE role in high paying companies they ask DSA for all roles.

I am confused, I want high paying job, can I get it with good knowledge of cloud and devops or I have to learn DSA.

How do you plan out your dates for maternity leave? I do not want to work up until my due date because I do not want the added stress prior to birth. I also want to give the people covering for me some clear instructions and don’t want to deal with going into labor while still in the middle of managing projects. My company does STD for the first 6 weeks but there is a one week “waiting period” that’s unpaid unless you put in PTO. How do you plan your last day knowing baby could come anytime?

I’m thinking of taking an full time opportunity I’m not particularly excited about to get out of my current role. My interest lies in the compliance/legal field but it’s very difficult to get fellowship opportunities at my current company. I have a CFE certification, but no real experience in the compliance area. I was thinking I could do a part time or contract job in compliance to get a little exposure and break into this area..but I’m not sure where to start. Can anyone provide any tips pls?

Been at current agency for a year, loved it and love my team. Pros: Benefits are great, as is the mentorship and work is generally quite stable. Cons: Lower paid

The new agency is smaller and benefits aren’t as good but I’ll get a +45% pay increase and title bump. Work is different to what I’m used to which is both exciting and daunting (imposter syndrome will no doubt kick in!).

Ideal situation would have been to stay in current role another year or two... help!

Is it Okay to join a new company with an initial offer letter?
I asked for a revision to my initial compansation and HR says it's approved but said it takes time to update. And there is some Workday Application freeze, so it might not be updated before my joining date.

But HR Is guaranteed on Compansation Revision

I am in a doubt regarding that, because if I join with the initial offer letter, what if they didn't revise.

I have a 3 yr car loan that has a 2% interest rate - since receiving my bonus, I am able to pay it off fully but am wondering if I should put the $$ to work elsewhere.

What would you do: pay the car off, wait until the new iBond rate is announced (maxed out this year already but I can put another $10k in Jan and would invest the rest into VTI or something), or put it all into VTI/VXUS since the market is down right now?
