Has anyone made the transition out of FP&A? I’ve been in FP&A at a financial services firm for over 10 years. Recently have felt very unmotivated and unhappy. The work hasn’t changed. I think I’m just in a rut and need to change environment and the people I interact with. I’m also very tired of the month end cycle and cadence. What are some options to go into?

Car basically completely died on me yesterday. Essentially worthless now. Was let go in mid April, still unemployed. can’t get extremely long term loans to buy a new car for a cheap monthly cost because im unemployed/haven’t been self employed long enough. Can’t dip into my savings since I need that for actual bills. What a year.

Anyone else project confidence and calmness but secretly get really stressed out or irritated easily? When I'm with people who talk slowly for example I get so irritated on the inside I feel like I could scream, but I obviously can't show that so I just pretend to be listening when really the person is talking so slowly that I forget the word they've said by the time they get to the next one.
