Is this a good deal for the role ?

Anyone have a senior product manager role in financial services. I have over 18 years of IT Experience with 10+ as a product manager. Looking for a remote or Charlotte based role. Would greatly appreciate any referral.

A friend of mine has worked at her current job for around 6 years and has never received a raise (not accounting role). She emailed her supervisor to schedule a meeting to discuss compensation adjustment. The supervisor replied saying that they can discuss compensation during her annual review in May. How would you reply to that email?

She likes her job and doesn't really want to look for a new one. But no raises in such is kind of ridiculous, especially in current environment.

I feel I am kinda lost about to do next after working in the agency analytics world for 5 year. Definitely want to switch to tech as the pay is higher and the work looks more interesting to me. Couple of paths that I have been considering: data scientist, data engineering, product analytics. Would like to be in more technical roles for the next couple of years. And would maybe like to be in product manager/manager role after that. What type of role would be the next best step.

Received offer with 25k signing bonus. Given it will be paid out after tax in first paycheck.
