I applied for a new position and turns out the recruiter who reached back out to me has a direct connection with one of my higher ups. Looking at their work history, it looks like they worked for the same company at one point and is probably how they know each other. Also, the recruiter works for a recruiting agency, so she’s not part of HR for the position I applied for. Would it be unethical for the recruiter to share with my higher up about my application? In other words, how f** am I ?

What’s the best way to differentiate my AE and I when we’re currently a new team of just 2 across multiple accounts...and we have the same name?
