I personally want to move towards FP&A bc I think it’s more interesting & transferable. But the benefits + pay is so much better at the PE firm. I think I will be happier working at the PE firm, but I think FP&A is more transferable if I were to leave (feel free to correct me if I’m wrong).

So after researching my salary is very competitive compared to the market
But the raises given aren’t inline with inflation, how do I justify that I deserve a higher raise to go up with the costs of living? To me it seems that I’m being valued less and less as I can now afford less even with the raise

Before lockdown 2.0 my father used to take care as he's a businessman but now even the business is not going well. He's not well he got discharged few days ago. I’ve been at the same agency for 5 years, have had endless growth opportunities, love the people I work with and have been promoted regularly with salaries I’m happy with but something has felt off for awhile now. I can’t put my finger on what “it” is but I’m bored of the work, the office politics just annoy me and I roll my eyes on every email that comes though.
