I think it's time to switch my career from copywriting (creative) to account/project management. I am so tired of dealing with clients who shut down my teams work and twist it into whatever they think is best. It is DRAINING. I have no experience in AM/PM but would love to give it a try because being a creative in an industry that fails you, sucks. Ever since my firm has been pushing a return to office (2-3 days a week… Just to be in office. There’s essentially no in person client interaction at my firm and no genuine need to be in person) I’ve just felt such an existential dread. I’m so unhappy. I’m constantly anxious. I’ve had so many Mini panic attacks about it. I want to cry all the time. And I’m so fed up speaking with pigheaded people who refuse to listen to (and actively criticize) people who don’t want to be in office.

What’s BCG comp for Project Leader and Principal levels?

I was placed on a PIP due to a project where the client didn’t like our work and from there I crushed the PIP and got off of it with no issues. Unfortunately, I was told my work was great and people gave great feedback but I still was placed on it anyway. I was terminated luckily with a 45 day severance package and honestly grateful to have finally been out of there and to a firm I like.

Okay finance lawyers. I don't understand this issue. Client says books show we're highly profitable but we have no way to pay our tax liability.... Well where the hell did tbe money go ? Client also claims that they are only taking a small portion of the revenue as profit. I don't understand how your books can be different than reality.

How do you deal with a manager who always blame you for actions that the manager instructed me to do in the past? E.g. manager reviews client decks with you and instructs to just note a strict budget to report. After a week, manager rereads the same deck and blames me for not supporting the budget that was added per the manager’s request. We always have this situation, no matter how much I ask for clarity in any internal reviews. I even sent back the emails and slack chats as an attachment.
