Texas biglaw: let’s name & shame firms who expect us to go back to the office five days a week with no hybrid model going forward.

Personally, I will continue to WFH twice a week despite my firm “strongly encouraging everyone to be in the office once vaccinated.” Wtf are they going to do? I’m an adult and if I’m billing my hours, it shouldn’t matter.

So let’s name, shame, & make it clear to these firms and their boomer management that we will not go back to the pre-Covid miserable grind.

Follow up post to my last post…My husband was laid off from the company where I also work. I am feeling really isolated / depressed about working and moving forward. I have an offer to a commercial real estate company in hand. My current brokerage (residential focus) wants me to pay $3000 penalty since I’m breaking the contract and leaving. I’m financially struggling and 3k is a big number to pay now. The new job will be paying me $2000/month up until the first year only. Is it wise to pay or stick around in residential sales just to avoid that penalty?

Can we expect 80% hike after 6 months in the current organization. I'm not actually planning to move out because of of hike, but because of the project which I got in which I'm not comfortable with. I'm interested to stay in the organization. But my supervisor said I have to stay in this project for atleast 5 years and HR asked to stay for atleast 2 years which I feel would loose my career.
