Hi All,
Persistent Systems is giving 10% variable on gross annual CTC. HR says you would receive minimum 70% of variable pay every month and remaining 30% will credited once a year at the end.
Does anyone has idea on this? Can I believe this and include 70% variable in my take home

Hi folks, I have recently joined Publicis Sapient taking an offer of 14.4 LPA. I have total 4.5 years of experience and my previous CTC was around 3.4 LPA. I had various offers in hand but not one to counter this one and PS is providing me 4x+, so I couldn't negotiate much.
Another thing is I was an immediate joiner as I had left my previous organisation 3 months ago so I couldn't wait to think about this offer.
But now I think it's low, what do you think please let me know and suggest.

You can apply to as many positions as you'd like. The more you do, the more offers you might receive, and the better your options will be.
It's not a great habit to turn down an offer after already accepting it, but I know someone who did.
I know people who do this, I think it's risky because you could burn some bridges doing it but I guess it depends.
Yeah, definitely burns bridges but could pay off depending on the situation.
Yeah I wouldn't risk it tbh. You never know who's on the other side of the offer.
I am guilty of this practice and yes it isn't easy to turn down offers that you had accepted at the first place.
But hey, you are just a number to them. End of the day it's all about money and the kind of the role. It's not wrong to keep searching until the end of your NP.
No, recruiters don't hold any grudge against you. I now work in an org whose offer I had turned down a couple of years ago just a day before the actual joining date and guess what it was the same recruiter I worked with back then too.
