ZS Associates Hello folks, I am a permanent employee of Persistent. I am deputed at the client side. My client is an ZS associate. Recently I have resigned from persistent. But ZS is very happy with my work. They don't want me to go. My ZS manager has asked the persis manager to retain me OR remove the cooling period clause, ZS is ready to hire me as a permanent employee. I will be very happy is ZS takes me as Permanent employee. It's not a great habit to turn down an offer after already accepting it, but I know someone who did.
I know people who do this, I think it's risky because you could burn some bridges doing it but I guess it depends.
Yeah, definitely burns bridges but could pay off depending on the situation.
Yeah I wouldn't risk it tbh. You never know who's on the other side of the offer.
I am guilty of this practice and yes it isn't easy to turn down offers that you had accepted at the first place.
But hey, you are just a number to them. End of the day it's all about money and the kind of the role. It's not wrong to keep searching until the end of your NP.
No, recruiters don't hold any grudge against you. I now work in an org whose offer I had turned down a couple of years ago just a day before the actual joining date and guess what it was the same recruiter I worked with back then too.
