So why do so many here think it's fine and great to expect the same police officer to respond to a fender bender, a double parked car, a speed trap, an elementary school needing drug awareness classes, a domestic violence situation, a murder scene, a hostage situation, a potential jumper on a bridge, vandalism, and a rabid raccoon? Same guy in many jurisdictions

Trust. I had three situations in the last 24 hours where things did not work out as they should or I was given wrong information. These situations were small and are definitely first world issues.

But it underlined for me how important trust is and how I feel so alone not having anyone there I know 100% I can trust them.
