My opinion, if you have already joined EY than just don't think much. Probably it's too late for switch now. Stay with big 4 because probably they have comparatively good annual appraisal. Also I guess it's good brand as compare to cap.

I agree, but capgemini is offering a much higher ctc considering I stay in the same company for min 2 yrs

Okay lets see what EY employee comment and suggest. Further suggestion if you still think work at Cap would be much better than EY, than it's worth taking such risk.

Money doesn't always matter brother, What if after joining capg u again get an offer paying u more If the current employer ctc is enough for you i would suggest u better stay as big four has better hikes n career grow Else if u really need the money u can switch

like

It must be one month notice right? Capgemini can wait that much, or if you aren't bothered about the certificate etc just leave !

like

Also, EY is definitely more brand value than Capgemini. And you have already joined there. So, joining at Capgemini doesn't seem to be good now. Plus there's no guarantee that you will get a good project there. What if you are stuck in some bad project there. So, think wisely.

I feel you must stay back for at least a year if the role is good. Moving to another organization in less than a month could have repurcursions later (few years later during background verification or switching companies). When you move out from a Big 4 later you would get an even better hike.

helpful

If it is one month , why to even declare that you worked in EY. No declaration bo background verification as simole as that

It is better to stay with Big4. And may be you can switch after a year or so if you do not get get hike or quality work (which I assume is not going to happen)

like

Bro, you are not a permanet employee as you have not completed 6 months probabtion .put your papers serve one month notice and leave and join cap. And for future in your CV dont state anywhere you worked in EY. Simple. 4LPA is what you will be getting next year as a hike why compromise. Leave

Kindly refer me for suitable position

You must be under probation. I would suggest reading the offer letter once more. Under probation, the company can release you in one day and you can also leave in one day - no questions asked.

I've been working for a regional public accounting firm since last Summer. It's a small office and I don't really fit in. The accounting software(s) is also ancient and slow here(circa 2003). I quickly applied for a position at a Big 4 and surprisingly was quickly offered a job. The training here has been haphazard and even managers barely know how to use the software. My main concern is the awkwardness from leaving after such a short time but the commute is an hour shorter to the big 4 firm.

I am 23 YO, just graduated undergrad from a non-target school, and am currently working in tech consulting for a B4 firm. Also, I wouldn’t mind going back to b school if that’s what it will take to get in the door. Thanks in advance!
