Fishes, Help me choose : 1)Natwest Senior DS 2) Fractal, DS 3)Bain & Company, Data Science Specialist .. Natwest and Bain are both in-house roles. Won't be working for clients ( I prefer this) Fractal is client facing role . All offering similar packages ( discussions with Bain are in process they might give 2 lpa more than others) I am looking to sharpen my deep learning skills over the next couple of years. Also want good WLB. Which one to join? Bain & Company NatWest @Fractal

It’s been 6-7 years in data science, still learning a lot..
It’s a long process, take one step at a time..
I’ve done various courses to grasp DS and some of the best courses are stated below:
The best course which covers the details in most aspects of ML is “Machine Learning by Andrew Ng- Coursera”
go along with this one it’s free and very detailed..
but it’s a bit tough to understand in one go..
Else, you can start with Stats from the YT playlist of “Statquest”
maths for DS from the YT playlist of channel “ritvikmath”
for ML, go through the ML playlist from the channel “Krish Nayak”
python from “ZTM python-udemy” or “code with harry” YT channel; both are great
then switch to deep learning with the YT playlist of channel “codebasics”..
deployment from udemy course “ Model monitoring and post production”
There is no need to purchase expensive courses;
subscribe to medium and towards data science
focus more on practical implementation of kaggle projects, as studying theory is unending..
All the best mate ✌🏻

I’ve been in the field for around 6 years. I met seniors, I was mentored, I met very skilled Data Scientists and Machine Learning engineers.
I’m also helping students from time to time, and this got me thinking about the actual role and the reason behind why someone would want to enter this field.
Is it just the salary? The title? You know, it’s being named the sexiest job of 2021.
So, to be very frank, it’s going to be hard. It’s not the standard 9–5 job, where you get to complete some tasks and call it a day.
You’ll need to have a growth-orientated mindset.
You’re asked to learn Computer Science, Statistics, Machine Learning, even some Business concepts.
It’s a very interdisciplinary field and it’s unlikely you’ll have all of them at the beginning of your career, so you can’t lack the motivation to expand your knowledge to the other fields, as needed.
Constant learning is crucial. Do you think you can spend a year learning Data Science, and then you can become a Data Scientist?
Wrong.
It’s an ever-growing field, it’s progressing incredibly quickly. New technologies, new tools, new concepts come out on a daily basis, and you should be able to keep up (or at least not get stuck behind).
Not demotivating anyone but please be prepared for everything
I wish you all the best mate and i hope the above comment would help you ✌🏻
To add I am a 2021 Engineering Graduate and I badly want to switch to a tech related role
