I was promoted to manager in Jan but received an offer with a 35% salary increase and much cheaper health insurance outside the firm. I am 85% sure I’ll take the offer, but wanted to see if anyone could think of acting I may be missing out on by leaving? FYI my inflation increase was larger than my promotion increase and my student loan payments also were stopped since I’m no longer an SA. I think what is holding me back is my guilt for my immediate team but just want to check.

So I have two offers on the table : Tuck vs Yale SOM. I am getting 40k scholarship from Tuck and nothing from Yale.

I'm planning on going into consulting afterwards and am not sure what school to attend. I know Tuck's group oriented teaching is slightly more geared towards consulting.

What has been making me hesitate is the global presence of what Yale has in its name.

Fresh graduate, 3.84 GPA, B.A. in Economics with two minors. No internship experience, and worked at a cafe for 3 years as a manager. Did some self initiated financial projects with the company in Excel, and I’m currently working at a branch bank. Got call from TCS HR & he asked my expected CTC & scheduled interview. After clearing both rounds, I got selected & got call from recruitment HR for further process. In discussion I told her that I already have EP id (used to login on TCS portal) & had got offer letter last time but did not join as TCS was not ready to renegotiate. So she said she can only proceed with my profile if I agree to join on same CTC as my current. I said NO. but will this happen every time now when I apply to TCS?
