I work in the mortgage department assisting w mortgage changes , payments etc. I’ve been thinking about becoming a claims adjuster most likely for property damage . Is it worth it ??? I hear a lot of talk about how claims adjusting is a lot of work and very demanding but I think my current position has prepared me for the challenge. I’ve got about 20 years cross channel experience in marketing, split between big brands and startups, and I’m considering pivoting into a data science/data analyst role. Offered CTC : 22.5 fixed +2.5 JB

Is it a fair amount for 8.5 YOE? Should he negotiate further. As this is his first offer , should he keep trying for better salary?

I am currently working a Linux system Admin having total 3.5 years of exp. Recently started learning ansible automation.
But I really want to move to some technology where I will have fixed timing (not 24/7 support project) . I have knowledge on python as well as other programming languages .
