Hi Fishes! I created a mostly digital campaign with display ads, an email, and direct mail that all drive traffic to a landing page. What should I be calling all of these different pieces? Tactics? Components? Assets?

I call them tactics but really as long as you're consistent and it conveys what it's meant to convey you're good!

like

I would refer to them as “channel elements”

Campaign tactics

I call them campaign assets. I normally save “tactic” for actions taken.

like

Yes, like when arriving to the landing page, if there is a subscribe to newsletter pop-up, that would be the tactic for capturing customers.

like

Channels or tactics and then if you create 2 sets of banner or 2 emails, each one is a campaign asset.

like

Inbound marketing pieces is my best guess.

I call these traffic sources

Good luck!

I call them drivers

Channels or Tactics. Like mentioned earlier, be consistent once you decide on the word you want to use

Every company I’ve been at has referred to them as campaign assets - but it’s been a few years since I was on the digital design/marketing side of things. I’ll also add that most of them had mixed digital/print campaigns and that may impact the correct term here.

Now I’m a product designer in engineering department and the term component is used a lot more for small pieces designed for the digital interface (e.g. a button). Don’t remember hearing that word often in marketing to refer to collateral.

1st Job - 90k…. Is this a good salary? Late to the game at 34. Don’t even know anything about personal finance. I hit my one year at my company on the 15th of November. I had lunch with my boss on the 10th and he mentioned a raise but not how much or when it would be effective.

Flash forward to now, we’ve had 2 paychecks since then and I haven’t received anything. He said last week he would let me know this week, but I’m getting frustrated.

He’s raising my billing rate effective Jan. 1, and I’m worried I won’t get my raise until then. Anyone have something similar happen?

Has anyone successfully claimed that income from a NY big law firm is not NY income based on TSB-M-06(5)I (May 15, 2006)? I think that my situation meets all the factors necessary. I am going to claim that the income should be sourced from Texas—I worked out of the Houston office from time to time while there. I was in Texas for more than half the year.

Don’t drink coffee or other caffeine (unless herbal tea on occasion counts). I wear an eye mask to block out light. Tried melatonin but it gave me nightmares. I feel like I’m losing hope on sleep

Looking for guidance. I have over 12 years of experience running dental offices. I’ve always had my hands in marketing and social media and consider myself more of a self taught digital marketer. I’ve taken a 2 year course with Duke University to learn more about digital marketing. I started a dental marketing agency but I am having a hard time overcoming ads for lead generation. I need to learn the ins and outs to be able to create results for my clients. What steps would you suggest I take?

Need some advice. I was asked to apply for a senior digital marketing specialist role (the lowest title I’ve applied for, looking mid-senior level). I applied and they offered me the position, but are telling me I need to start out at the regular specialist level. To me, if I interviewed for the senior title, and I can clearly do the qualifications needed since you offered me the role, I should have that title. Thoughts? Supposedly the reg. specialist role is senior in their org. structure.
