What metrics matter on a resume?
After taking on senior level work for some time and being denied pay increase or title change, I’m moving on. Have 2+YOE in paid and organic social and 1YOE as a creative manager

Although I have lists of action items and projects accomplished but not many other metrics besides media budget spend

Is it worth applying for a position with a firm you are directly adverse to on a matter or will conflicts definitely keep you from joining?

What would be a typical salary for a junior in house counsel role (3 yoe) at a publicly traded company in a secondary market (think Austin, Tampa, Charlotte)? I’m having a really hard time finding what a reasonable range would be. Most positions I’m applying to require desired salary in the application, and the truth is I’d accept anything north of 125k but don’t want to undersell myself and take a bigger cut than necessary coming from biglaw.

Now, I have 1 Interview on 16th.
It seems everything is last minute.

I haven't told interviewing firm that i have an offer and joining new org....to get the interview.(told current salary as per my offer from another org) & NP as one month

How do make sure i receive a better offer on time so I can join this org.

Hi fishes, 26 of nov i give the interview after that 28 of nov i got a mail to upload document on ibegin and same day my doc is verified .

But in 29 of nov show two status in ibegin current and previous status in current it show resume is shotlisted and previous it show evaluation in progress.what it mean?

I have declared my investments in tax declaration portal , still I see in monthly salary that there is huge tax deduction.
In my previous organization, once I declared my investments in the tax portal , then my salary was very less affected by tax deduction.
But in ey india , I don't see any effect after declaring my investments.
Kindly help me how to declare investments so that there will be less tax deductions from my salary .

I’m not from an English speaking country but I am watching a tv show and businessmen walk into a room and instead of greeting eachother, everyone says each person’s first name in lieu of hi, however in my experience working in the states, I haven’t seen anyone do this, it’s always hi or good afternoon or some other greeting first THEN they say their first name. is it also appropriate to omit the greeting?

Just started a new job less than a month ago in the tech sector. It was the industry I was fixated on when leaving for. However I realise that I don't think I can cope with the fast paced, lack of wlb, with no support - it's really impacting my mental health already....

I try to hide it from my boyfriend, but its impact is flowing into my personal life.

There is an opportunity that I’m currently interviewing for that is very interesting to me. I’m interviewing two other places but I’m not responding to LinkedIn emails for other positions. Based in the Bay Area and have 3.5 yr exp in IT Audit mostly SOX with a little SOC exp (ex big 4, couple of regionals) and have been applying to industry (mostly tech companies) since May. made it to final interviews only to find out hiring freezes were in effect or they went with a LCOL candidate.Would like to exit to a GRC role or a mixed role thats 50% sox, 50% varied projects, or a SOX role if the team culture is good. No luck getting in non sox work at current firm.

What's the process for leaving the firm? Is there a formal process that I have to go through or do I just tell my PML that I took another opportunity and I'm out in 2 weeks?
