Tech stack : .net full stack with 4 yr of experience location kolkata, can anyone tell me , how is the work life balance,hike and variable pay as i also have another offer of 27 lpa from a mid size company.
I am looking for a long time career in whichever company i opt for so thats why. Any comments would be really hopeful.

Would it be difficult to get a job in IA if most of my experience has been auditing private non-404 asset mgmt funds? I really enjoy process walkthroughs when I have them though. Also, does title matter that much in IA? I’m a manager now, but based on job descriptions it looks like I might have to go for a senior auditor role because audit manager roles generally call for 8+ years from what I’m seeing. Can title be negotiated?

How do I explain to my friends that my job is more demanding than theirs but not more important. They all work 9-5 and don’t understand why I can’t just “do it tomorrow” I don’t want to put their jobs down because they are good jobs just not the same pressures and demands as public accounting. Recently I had two rounds of interview with KPMG for a content lead role.

The HR, on call, confirmed that I'd cleared the second round and would schedule an on-shore round when the team was available.

Couple of days later, the HR informs me that the position in on hold and they'll call me if something else comes up.

This felt so wrong. Can't figure out if they hired someone prior and were just messing with me? Can I do something here?

I'm currently a technology consultant (SAP) at EY GDS. My YOE is 3.5 years (BTech and no MBA). I want to switch to Management Or Business consulting but I don't know where to start.

Besides being involved in projects, I have actively participated in pre-sales demos and practice building activities. I think I'll be better placed at a broader area of work rather than a technology like SAP.
