It's not that complicated. You should ask team to do what you feel is right as per your experience. People usually do listen. Also there are always one or two members in team that are not willing to contribute due to various reasons. You will need to learn to handle them so that other team is morale is not impacted. Discuss with your peer leads and manager before taking any major decision and you should be ok.👍

I think in life there are opportunities to learn something new, managing is also a skill, you'll come to know what others are and how to manage them it would be a good exposure. Managing a team is a great skill, you just need to understand what areas management is required and what you need to manage and most important part to this is communication, understand what the management's perspective is what role you have to play, talk with folks around and understand what they can do and assign tasks accordingly.
Be a leader than a manager because leader helps to lead the team to a position where growth of project as well as employee is in sync :)
