I have recently got an offer with tcs for VMware admin.I have 3 yeo with cts and recently got promoted as Associate.Tcs is offering me 8.08 and C1 grade and systems engineer designation.Is there any chance I can negotiate with the HR if so how much.

Hi is it good to say that I already have an offer letter of one company(X) to another company(Y) to get better offer, I just got scolded by HR for this. also I lost the opportunity in Y.

HR scolded me regarding trust issues, time taken to interview a candidate, you will go and come back again to negotiate and what not, all I wanted to was just to improve my current offer.

Is it ethically wrong, or we should never share what offer we have to anyone.
