What was the notice period you had communicated before interview?
If you had told that it is 60 days and negotiable then you can drop them mail saying it is not getting reduced due to urgent business needs.
If you had told it's already less you can say recently you were allocated to a client and have signed a bond with them and they require you to serve more days.
If you are on perfect terms with manager, he will obviously agree to release in 40days.
I have mentioned as 2 months Notice only and didn't gave any commitment about early joining. Getting relieved in my current organisation before 2 months is not possible as I'm occupied in couple of projects. Please need your suggestion in this as I havent resigned and didnt accept the offer yet
Well this is simple. Talk to the hr to extend joining date. They mostly understand this
No no. They should consider as it is a hard process of hiring a candidate and they probably will not want to lose one for 20 days. Mention that you've previously mentioned your np as 60 days. Also don't put in papers until you get your final OL
Wondering what is the notice period mentioned by new company in the offer letter.
