How do you explain a work gap if the reason for the abrupt departure is harassment? Is the excuse “I left for health reasons” genuinely received as an acceptable answer in today’s world (with the same old stuffy judgmental partners)?..could really use some light at the end of the tunnel that leaving before finding a new job won’t get me doubly burned by this situation…But, if giving the health excuse would get my resume tossed at good firms then I’m willing to endure a few more months.
