Just started a new role in finance and I’m the only woman on the team. It’s been 3 weeks and the guys have been pretty unwelcoming and kind of rude. The first day everyone was welcoming but it went downhill since. One of them keeps trying to scare me that the work will get hard etc and there’s always awkward silence and sometimes unnecessary rude remarks. I just started and don’t feel right what should I do.

I'm halfway through a contract position and enjoying it, and would like to transfer to full-time, but I worry about the 90-day gap in employment and that I wouldn't be able to find the same position remotely with this company. (have finance probs I won't delve into now.) Not sure how to a) tell my manager that I want to transfer to FTE but do not want to move or b) how/when to figure out my next move. I thought I found the perfect position in March but I was let go today. I was blindsided. Never a complaint, my reviews were excellent and I got along well with the owners. My only issue was the PEO not speaking with me and going directly to the owners with her agenda. I asked ownership to work with me and I would pull the PEO in, if necessary. Apparently, they have a longstanding friendship and he does not think of them as a vendor as a friend. She suggested a on-site PEO rep and out I go!

While contacted the ICICI POP , he told me to declare the amount though the POP is not ICICI then only they will get request to transfer to ICICI POP .

I've got call from Cognizant HR for salary discussion. Post this I got a mail to complete step of filling online CIS form. Now it's been 2 weeks but I haven't received there offer letter. Anyone else faced this ? Will they release the offer letter ? I'm worried, please share your experience if you've joined cognizant in recent time.

2.5 YOE, 6.2 LPA Mainframe, recently got an offer from TCS for Mainframe Developer position with 7.5Lpa. My project Director called me and willing to match the salary here in Cognizant. He said i will be eligible for yearly hike as well.

Please suggest if truly I will be eligible for yearly hike after being retained and is it good to stay overall.

P.S - TCS gave 7.5 on top of 5.1 LPA, 6.2 is what i got recently in April promotion for Associate.

What would be my in hand salary per month if fixed is 13.5 LPA? I have 1.5 lakhs of investment in 80c.

I applied for 1 week holidays in Dec and I had already intimated to this my manager 3mnths back. But now manager saying u can't take leaves, we don't give continuous leaves and etc. Now I can't even take my planned leaves and telling me ro work on my leaves. And i have so many EL leaves which are gng to expire by this year.
Have u faced this situation ?
Anyway I'm gng to apply for leaves and take it.
