I am eligible for 10% variable pay. But it seems in EY GDS it is a kind of program where one needs to participate and meet some targets. OR it is a Variable Component like any other company where it is only dependent on the company performance in that quarter and employee doesn't have to do any extra target-meets. Please explain, this would help. I am going join in October 1st week

A couple of weeks back someone posted a success story and mentioned they can write a book about salary negotiation experience. I thought that was exaggerated. Now, I can write my own book. 😂 Why should it be so stressful? I am pretty sure a company like Google can simplify this. Post my MBA (Fin), I've been working in a bank as a Relationship Manager for over a year. I've realized majority of roles in banking are sales profiles (also less learnings and repetitive work) . I'd consider myself a good analyst rather than a salesperson.
Though I am doing decent in this role, feeling out of place here. Could you please suggest some profiles in banking industry where I would be able to use my financial knowledge, analytical skills and learn something new.

Hi Big4, I'm coming up close to 2 years of work exp and I'd love to explore a role at EY, KPMG and PwC in analytics and data engineering.
I'd been looking at Deloitte as well, however on multiple occasions Deloitte recruiters told me that I need more "years of experience" without factoring my skillsets. On conducting research, I found developers writing basic SQL queries that I could script at the beginning of my career.

While I'm still learning, I'd appreciate anyone who can help :)
