Hi fishes, I need some career advice. I have an MBA in HRM And I am currently working in L&D however over the past year I have been trying to get into Analytics just because I thought it will fit more with my lifestyle (I need a job that can be done remotely and not much communication because of timezones differences) however my husband and I keep noticing that HR is my passion but I already feel too invested in Analytics. Is HRIS out of the question? Otherwise maybe look into comp & benefits functions of hr. Even so you may need to work an adjusted schedule to be available remotely at least 4-6 biz hours of west coast time if you're hoping to find a role with a us based team

Tiger Analytics has started firing their new joineers(freshers) as they don't have adequate projects. I don't know where the freshers will go as they haven't done any project as such.

My joining date is tomorrow in TCS but still I did not get onboard email. Recruiter is saying bgv is still pending and delay of joining. Why delay in bgv process and postpone the joining date in TCS? Hope y’all feeling great. I am diagnosed with Cyclothymia (mild BP2) and I am not on any medication. I understand this bowl is not for medical advice and I should consult a relevant physician but appreciate if some one can talk about their personal experiences. My urologist told me that if I ever go on anti-depressants, he suggested me to go with Wellbutrin rather than SSRIs (like Lexparo) since SSRIs can mess with your sexual drive but Wellbutrin actually may increase libido. Predicated on confidentiality, my colleague went to HR with negative feedback re a specific leader’s flexibility with the *mandatory* PPE protocol. The HR Manager went directly to the leader and gave the feedback along w my colleagues name. Since that day she’s been heavily “taxed.” HR has a responsibility to protect anonymity. How to handle?

I'm currently on short term disability (but not on FMLA). Prior to leave, I started interviewing. I received multiple offers... Haven't accepted one yet, but more than likely will. It's going to be a while until I'm able to get back to work. I'd like to be able to tell my mgr/team now that I'm leaving so they can prepare. I also know they can terminate me while I'm on STD and not protected by FMLA. If I give notice and they decide to terminate me on the spot, do I lose my STD benefits?
