I have a question. I have enough credits for the CPA exam, but before I realized that I was aiming for a Master in Accounting and got accepted in my school 5 year program for that purpose. Is there any benefit of getting said master? Or should I focus on passing the CPA exam instead? I just finished my first tax internship and everybody said that the CPA was unavoidable but nobody talked about any benefit of getting a master whatsoever.
What do you guys think?

I’m in a rather peculiar situation. I have been in the HR field going on 4 years, I have over 11 years of management experience, I got my PHR last year and I recently graduated with my MBA with a concentration in HR this month. I am ready for a more challenging role. However, there doesn’t seem to be much available at my current company. However, I am going on 5 months pregnant with the expectation of being out in October. I feel like once I mentioned my pregnancy I was in a holding pattern.

Is it worthwhile to get an MBA as a tech-leaning consultant (data scientist)?

I’m currently at an agency and am pretty sure I want to go brand side. My experience is in health/CPG, so I’m interested in CPG companies (ABM roles - I don’t have a MBA so I realize that may be difficult), traditional tech companies (Amazon, FB etc.) and telehealth/health and wellness start-ups (one medical, roman, billie). First time poster here!

After spending 4 years as a mid-level ops manager, I tried to break into HR through talent acquisition. Now after 6 years in TA, I've had a hard time getting out of it. My goal was always to get into a more broad HRBP position, but I've since worked for smaller orgs without a solid HR career path. When I ask about my career goals, they keep telling me, "Soon!" Or "Maybe in 6 months!"

I'm testing SPHR in June. Any advice for securing the type of role I'm aiming for?

HR / Recruiters specifically - can you guys just please try to be honest with candidates and say its going to be a while before they hear back!! I dont know whats going on but interviewing with several major companies and having to chase down recruiters all day after they say they will follow/up on this or that day and then I dont hear from them for 3-4 days.
