Hi Fishes, I need your advice!

I joined CG 6 months back and was on training for 3-4 months for Dynamics CRM, completing multiple MS certifications. Post that I was mapped to an account for the project & was under shadow.

After shadow completed it seems like there's no project openings in the account for which I was selected. And now management wants me to go for other certs.

Please help me know whom can I approach & ask for project openings/tagging. I'm worried as it's already been 6 months!

Someone just messaged me on LinkedIn congratulating me for a role that they had apparently applied for. I guess they saw the profile update notification. This is weird and I don't know what to say.

Been with company for 2.5 years in a SFA role, and they just let me hire an associate financial analyst reporting into me. My manager never mentioned anything in regards to a promotion, but when I asked, I was told that there will be an evaluation period before any promotion is given. Has anyone else had this before, where you are managing someone but they don’t give you a promotion? Sounds bizarre to me that they allow me to hire someone but then are hesitant to promote.

How do you get your client to hire you? I know technically they aren't supposed to poach you... But if they're looking for someone to fill a role you're super qualified for and willing to double your salary... I have always struggled in my career despite being from the best colleges. In my first company, I was given the worst rating bcz I cheated on a tech test (I was not in a tech team), post mba I joined new company & my boss hated me, I was yelled at daily & given double the amount of work. She finally laid me off when covid started. Now I joined this new company, moved countries & after 3 months, I was laid off (with 1K peeps). This has shaken me to the core & I have lost all confidence in myself.
