Now they are asking me to do monitoring/support job ,

I have 6+ years of experience in data science and spent a significant amount of time and money in learning data science/AI/ML , now i am really worried about my career if i compromise and stay here in this support role .

Please help me with suggestions , is it okay if I quit an organisation with in less than 6 months of joining? What should be my narrative for quitting .

I actually want to learn Kafka hands on . I have been a data engineer all my life, worked with big data, hive, spark ,Scala,python,AWS( all major analytics services),Azure(all analytics services) however got only a brief chance to work with Kafka / real time streaming projects.

Gave 3 rounds of interviews with Rubrik. No feedback got a call saying you got rejected thats it. Don't candidates deserve a chance to know their feedback you might think I am writing this out of spite but this happens in most of the companies In my case, I was 100% sure about how I performed in the interview because all the questions asked were one or the other way from one of many inteviews I attend. I was able to answer every question discussed and shared my thoughts while writing the code.

Do people at product based company use sharding and db replication or your company use it. I don't see it much often but want to work on it. Asked in every interview but when you join the company you see a single db node. What the hell.
