Stop tagging firms we don’t care

I heard people join for 1 month in the induction period, take 1 month salary and leave.

This is brilliant!

Why do you tag us?

omg who are these people. Managing 1 job is a tedious task, how can you manage multiple, keeping aside the legal side of it.

Fyi - nothing illegal about it unless there is something in your employment agreement with either employer that specifically says not to do that. I am considering doing it in 2022. And I no longer work with EY.

It's interesting in theory but I don't think it would really be possible for more than a few months,

yah I would NOT recommend this approach or spamming people like this...I do freelance on the side which probably adds up to 2 full-time jobs, but in different industries and sectors to ensure no conflict of interest

Work life balance ?

Can someone help me understand Salesforce RSUs? Is it all granted when I start (ie I get 50k worth of RSUs at todays rate) and it just doesn’t all vest or is it that they purchase that $ amount each quarter when it vests? Offer language is below, but I’m new to RSUs and don’t get it

Just received an offer from Deloitte. If the role is non-client facing, can i invest in any stock?

Hearing about the ridiculous demands from the LA teachers union... Is anyone else frustrated with how political teaching has become? I'm not sure that I would teach at all if it was required to join the union. So sick of the pressure to back certain candidates, walk-outs, and viewpoints. My district has a negotiating body affiliated with the NEA, but it's voluntary to be a member. I'm glad to live in a state with options.

Looking for APICS CSCP study material. Anybody looking to part or share - let's work out a price.

Google is providing all US-based employees weekly COVID tests by mail using bioiQ. Any consulting firms out there doing the same? Seems like a great perk.

Culture question. I’ve always been environment where you get your work done, bill your hours, you’re good. This new job is focused on hours in the office. Is this normal? More in comments

Considering a position at Goldman entering my 3rd year as an advisory manager. What would equivalent level be at Goldman

Renegging on big 4 offer for entry level Has anyone renegged on a firm? And if so how do you handle it. I am in an awkward position where I have to accept an offer within two days but I'm also interviewing elsewhere. How do you handle it?

11 likes required for DMs, can I get some help, please?

Are there any lawyers that moved to healthcare tech (non-legal related positions)? That would include medical devices, AI, robotics, etc. Would love to learn from your experience. Parents always wanted me to become a doctor, so did I. However, did not do very well around blood. :)) Thank you!

Might be a long shot but my husband and I are wanting to move back home to the Fayetteville, AR area. Any firms hiring in that area for staff level? Just finished my first busy season (had 2 this year). Currently in audit in financial services, asset management, but willing to work in other areas, even advisory.

PwC is charging $3500 out of pocket for premium filing of I140. Worth doing this?

Have those laid off this past year from the Big 4 had any luck landing new jobs? I had a great career but now can’t get the time of day. I am tired of faking enthusiasm that I lost months ago.

Anyone quitting their job and looking for a permanent remote job now that offices office dates have been announced?

Any job cuts, furloughs, or paycuts at Cincinnati firms ?
