I would really like some of you senior people to advice me on the following. Will working in a new and comparatively unknown product startup hamper my chances for future employment opportunities at big companies for e.g. FAANG companies? Will it be a wise choice for my future? I read somewhere that big company like these don't prefer to hire people who have worked in startups. I would really like to get your advice. TIA

I was just talking to a younger friend who goes to Cal and It seems like the kids these days hate FAANG or at least Amazon and Facebook are not desired at all. I personally don’t see too many issues working at either Amazon or Facebook because I work at Deloitte where I’m sure we have many questionable clients and worked in financial services before. Curious on whether people are thinking about the ethics of their exit company when deciding to move?

I only started at PwC a couple of months ago, but I started getting hunted down by Amazon. I just passed my technical interview with them and I am moving on to the loop interview. What I want to know is... does anyone have experience at both? In my head, as a Solutions Architect, Amazon (or any FAANG) is a feather in my cap. That being said, PwC has been great, and seems like a great company. Would you leave PwC for an AWS Solution Architect position?

Which is the best company to work for amongst the FAANG companies? Best in terms of quality of work, employee benefits, pay, etc

Next week FAANG earnings begin with NFLX and following 2 weeks all the big boys go. Are earnings going to be catalyst for next leg up or next leg down? I don’t think better than expected works anymore like it did in the summer.  One thing to note though all the major tech companies but Apple are trading below where they did at Q3 earnings.

Been Interested in working at a FAANG for the past 5 years. I am a Certified Scrum Master, Agile Coach, and Product Owner. I never see many roles in those areas at most FAANG companies ?? Can someone help me out ? Is it a different title at those companies and are referrals needed ??

Reading through some possible interview questions for FAANG. One of the ones I've seen on Glassdoor are to design a basic architecture structure for something like Netflix or Twitter or Spotify. I've been researching online using AWS or GCP (still learning all the moving parts of architecture). Any advice on how the setup would be? I'm assuming you'd start with some Load Balancers. For Netflix maybe have different different APIs for signing up vs scrolling through possible movies?

Fishes, Need some suggestion- i have 2 offers currently and I am struggling to make a decision which one should I go for. I have 9 years of experience with current CTC as 20 LPA in Wipro (18 fixed and 2 variable)

1. Deloitte USI with 33.4 LPA as CTC (28 Lakhs fixed and 5.2 lakhs variable)
2. Snowflake with 31 LPA as CTC (27 lakhs fixed and 4 lakhs variable) with 18000 USD of stocks every year.
