Current analyst (1.5 YOE) here with a strong interest in DevOps and Project Management. I feel like I am slowly but surely getting pigeon-holed in L&D work. I don’t like it, but my leaders continue to tell me that all experience is good experience. Should I try to breakout and find a variety of experience this early in my career or should I try to make it to 3 years and re-evaluate then? Have you had a similar experience? What have you done?

Policy saying India being a country where one can’t do any client work while on personal time off. There is no flexibility in this especially when huge number of Indians work in KPMG US offices. What are other firms doing?

I keep starting huge projects or hobbies and being intensely into it for about 10 days/2 weeks, after which I forget about it and the project just lays around my house for months until I get interested in it again or I toss it out/donate it. It was fine when I was living alone but my partner is seriously frustrated with how messy the house gets and how much I spend on supplies for these things.
