Is it true that product based companies have better work life balance than service based. I recently joined a big IT firm after my MBA in process improvement (quality). After two months of working 12-13 hours a day i realize this is not going to work for me. Looking for something less hectic (like 10hrs a day max). Is it only possible in product based companies?

I feel a bit guilty that I work only during the hours I’m supposed to (8-5 PM) while the rest of my team are on multiple projects and work all day and work weekends. But I also wouldn’t sacrifice my time to do more work since I’m already feeling a bit burnt out. I get almost no breaks and work the entire time usually.

She took all my details and then she said that I will be getting a call from them. At that time I was in hospital due to some unavoidable reasons, So getting a call from them made me happy.
