Dear TCSers
Could you tell me how to charge on Furlough on timesheet. I am new in this organization and hearing furlough for the first time. I am taking leave half of the furlough period and my manager told me you can charge on furlough for the rest but i don't see any option on timesheet for furlough.
Please help.

You can raise a ticket on Ultimatix and discuss this with the payroll team. Do not expect much on yearly hike. Average is 5-6%of CTC and max is 8%

Their salary structure is really bad as basic is too low so you wont be able to save tax and will pay max tax

You will get the quarterly variable in every three months. I guess you calculated that in monthly salary. None of the WITCH companies provide hefty hikes. Hike range is below the inflation level😂
Hefty means you are expecting 100 percent or what :).
Mostly they will give 3-4 percent on average.
You just joined and thinking on appraisal.
I suggest settle well in the project / technology you are learning as you already decided and joined TCS.
TCS will not give you that much increment. I joined here as a fresher and even after 2 years they didnt even increased 1lakh overall on my pkg. Its better to switch asap after taking some working experience. I am also on a notice period.

Are you already in the project? As I heard if you are not tagged to project you will be getting monthly and quarterly variable components partially, not fully. Did they deduct the insurance premium at one shot? Thanks in advance. I'm joining this month... Keen to know
I also got my first month salary this week. Everything was as mentioned in salary breakup. Monthy performance pay was full. I was not on bench so full payment.

I hope you checked the salary structure correctly. The problem with the structure is
1. Low basic pay
2. Gratuity is a part of CTC( it shouldn’t be till 5 years as you aren’t going to get it till then)
3. QVA- quarterly variable allowance paid once in 3 months.
4. HIS for dependants would be deducted.
Wait for quarterly salary.. then compare. As per latest tcs policy, monthly bonus got reduced and quarterly bonus is increased.
So hopefully you will get satisfy with Quarterly salary slip.
Is the monthy bonus dependent on being allocated in project?
Yes
It depend on your grade. If grade is C2 or less than c2 then you will get 100% bonus. If more than c2 grade, then yes.
So, if we are on bench for 1 month, we don't get both monthly and QVA for that period? That is too big an amount
If you are on bench for the month, the monthly performance pay is 0. QVA will depend on your utilisation and overall performance of BU and company
