Hi Fishes, just curious about one thing. I have a 3 month notice period in my company. If I resign today and want to serve a full notice period but my employer wants to release me early. But the next company is expecting me in 3 months only. Can my current employer relieve me early if I don't want that?

Hello. I’m currently working in management consulting at a Big 4 and considering switching to cloud outside of my firm. I have no cloud experience, so starting from scratch. Considering starting with AWS practitioner certification, then Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, plus getting some practical experience by being staffed on cloud projects at my firm. What job and compensation can I expect in the market after this? Any other skills you would recommend to be more competitive? ty

I went on vacation w family and had a good time last week. Back home alone I feel in a funk again. Funkier than Cold Medina. Just wanted to share with someone.

Hi all! I'm a fresher, a 2021 IT graduate, currently working as an analyst at Deloitte USI. After spending close to a year in a maintenance project, I'm looking to switch projects. But I'm not sure whether I should stick to SDE/developer roles or go into Data Engineering. Both the fields excite me but I'm a bit confused on what to choose. Does being an SDE give better salary/perks in the long run (like 10-20 years)? Because some say that SDE > DE while some say it is not so. Please be genuine.
