HI Fishes need your help please. Most of the companies with which I have cleared interviews are simply stretching and not releasing any offer letter. My LWD is Jan 25,Waiting for offers from HCL (cleared 2 different interviews) and Mindtree 1.5 for months, and cleared PWC AC 2 weeks back. Is this a common practice now? Whenever I call they say that we will process it. I have offer letter from IBS software. Should I wait for others or start onboarding formalities with what I have in hand?

I found a company I was really excited about working at. I applied for the job and went through 5 rounds of interviews. At the end they said I was OVER qualified and they want me for a different position higher up in the company. I was super excited they then had me go through 5 more rounds, 3/5 people were the same. The interviews mostly went "didn't you get the job, I highly recommend you? I'll just put you down as a 10". After those were done they told me I was UNDER qualified. Can't win!

I’m soooo pissed. Tech company wanted to put together a package for me, then I said I had more questions so they made me interview more people, and now they don’t think I’m strategic enough for the role. That’s some messed up recruiting - you don’t like that I won’t go in blindly to a role so you don’t hire me?

I am an Operations Manager and trying to switch to Product Management through APM roles. I have done a 3 month fellowship and 2 projects.
I am from a tier 1 college and yet able to land only a couple of interviews and they keep me on stand by(2 companies so far). They are prefering folks with experience even for APM positions. What is the best way to bag a APM role with just one year work ex in pperations role. Will an internship help?

I manage const for eng companies. Got short video interview, then a job offer @ low end my req. range. Experience: it’s normal to travel for a 2nd interview in person. Result: I see quitting to do this as risky. I asked for more $ than my prior range & explained I prefer we meet in person to see if it’s a fit 1st. Hiring manager wants me and may push for the $ but not the in person meet. Wonder if it could cause me to start there with less trust if they think I abused my position for more $.

I reviewed and counter-offered on Tuesday and I received an email on Thursday saying that they could give me what I asked and that they were going to send me a new offer that same day or the day after. A week has passed, I sent a politely follow up email and nothing. It’s that normal? What do you think?

I just bombed my first case interview. The interviewer said I seemed lost, and he wasn't wrong. Nerves definitely got the best of me. I have the second part of the interview (another case with a different interviewer) coming up next week. I guess I'm wondering if I blew the whole thing? I just got an invite to interview 3 of 3 with a company I’m interested in. But, I also really like where I’m currently working, and they’ll be hella short-staffed if I take this new role.
